Adobe held their Refresh Roadshow 2010 in Melbourne yesterday, and it seemed to be pretty well attended by the Melbourne design and development community. We were fortunate enough to be invited to demonstrate our product and engage in a bit of friendly Q&A during the morning keynote.

Our product is built using Adobe Flex, so it gave us the opportunity to demonstrate some of the awesome features and explain why it was the best product choice for us. Flex really has given us the ability to develop quicker and with higher quality, given the interface we are trying to produce for our customers.

Thanks should go out to Andrew Spaulding from Adobe for inviting us along (shown above on the right). Thanks Andrew!

Representing Eventarc on stage was co-founder and lead developer Andrew Edwards (shown below).

Go Eventarc!
Cheers Dave. Many thanks for your outstanding referral!
Unfortunately I couldn’t get to the event
– looks like a great product. Just out of interest, what backend are you using with Flex (eg; Coldfusion, php, .net or other)?
Hi Walter,
Pity you couldn’t make it – it was a pretty good day. Some of the demonstrations were pretty cool (and I’m not just saying that because we were there!).
The backend is php. If you want more info on how we integrated, drop us an email and I will put you in touch with Andy who crafted the whole solution.
Cheers,
Scott.
